Abstract Background The quantity and quality of Brazilian scientific output increases decade by decade. However, there is a tendency to undervalue journals, illustrated the low number citations compared with texts in international tacit justification that foreign articles are superior quality. Objectives To investigate differences numbers periodicals three journals from 2016 2020.
